“Turning Story Into Poetry,” Sunday, Oct. 3, 11-12:15 (Sarah Zale)

Turning experience into words is the task of a poet. We will examine the styles of different poets and discuss how they tell a story. We will decide what poetic tools work best to make a story the most powerful. We will each write a poem of story, share that poem, and receive feedback.
